Document Upload, Reupload, and Management
Purpose - Lets applicants upload required documents (photograph, mark sheets, transfer certificate, consent form, guardian signature, and other supporting documents) and manage them until the application is finalized.
Who Can Use It
Signed-in applicants.
Key Capabilities
- Upload a document under a specific document type (for example, student photo, consent form, transfer certificate, guardian signature).
- View the list of documents already uploaded, including their status and version number.
- Replace a document while the application is still in draft — the previous file is removed and the new one takes its place.
- Reupload a document (creating a new version while preserving the history) after submission if the school has requested a fresh copy.
- Delete a document that is no longer needed while the application is still in draft.
- Download the standard consent form template before signing and uploading it back.
How to Use It
- Go to the documents step of the application.
- Choose the document type from the list, pick the file from your device, and upload it.
- Review the uploaded file in the list. Delete or replace it if you need to.
- If a school requests a re-upload, use the reupload option on that document; the school will see both the previous and the new version.
Rules & Restrictions
- A file must be attached to every upload — an empty upload is rejected.
- The document type must be specified for every upload.
- Reupload is only intended when a document is not yet accepted or the school has explicitly requested it.
- Only the applicant themselves can view their uploaded documents through their applicant session; direct file links are protected.
- The consent form download is publicly available so applicants can obtain and sign it before signing in.
