The Approval Chain Configuration section allows schools to define the leave approval workflow for employee leave requests.

Overview

Schools can configure custom approval chains based on their organizational requirements.

School-Level Approval Policy

• Approval workflows are configured separately for each school.
• Different schools may have different approval hierarchies.
• Employee leave requests follow the approval chain defined by the school.

DHE Approval Routing

If the approval chain includes:

• PRINCIPAL
• DHE_ADMIN

the leave request will be routed to the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) for final approval.

Approval Chain Management

Administrators can:

• Create approval chains
• Configure approval levels
• Define approvers for each stage
• Modify existing approval workflows

No Approval Chains Available

If no approval workflow has been configured, the system displays:

No approval chains found.

Create one to get started.

Note: Leave requests cannot follow a custom approval workflow until an approval chain has been configured.
