Employee Dashboards & Analytics

Purpose  —  Provide administrators with an at-a-glance view of the workforce for reporting and planning.

Who Can Use It

School ADMIN, DHE, DHE Employee, and employee (auto-scoped to their own school).

Key Capabilities

• Headline statistics: total employees, active vs inactive, teaching vs non-teaching vs vocational counts.
• Category breakdown: split by status, gender (male/female/other), social category, and deputation status.
• Designation breakdown: top-N designations with active/inactive splits; when a specific designation is selected, further split by specified sub-designation.
• Location statistics: employee counts grouped by district, educational block, and cluster.
• Batch statistics for multiple schools (used by higher-level dashboards).

How It Works

1. Open the dashboard from the main navigation.

2. Optionally apply filters (school, department, employee type, designation, status, district, block, cluster).

3. The system returns aggregated counts and breakdowns for the current scope.

Rules & Restrictions

• Employees see stats only for their own associated school. schoolADMIN sees stats only for their own school.
• dheEmployees must supply designation name and organisation user ID; without valid scope, results fail closed.
• The status filter is ignored for the designation breakdown — both active and inactive employees contribute; per-row splits remain visible.
